Opened on June 11, 2011 was the Community Wellbeing Centre which houses the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Health and Social services including: Home and Community Care, Home Support, Mohawk Family Services, Ontario Works, Good Minds,Youth Programs, Healthy Babies/Healthy Children and the Maternal Child Health/Early Childhood Development programs as well as Medical Transportation, Diabetes Education and Non-Insured Health Benefits.

 

The Community Wellbeing Department offers numerous programs for the community. The purpose of these programs is to provide holistic services in order to meet emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual needs within the community.

 

This centrally located building also houses a teaching lodge and sweat lodge and hosts a variety of cultural and educational sessions for the community.
