Experience and Portfolios

The following information sections are testaments to our
continued involvement and commitment to our Clientele.
Our experience has required us to work closely with
many authorities having jurisdiction to ensure quality
work and the timely delivery of architectural services.
Some of these authorities and the types of projects they
deliver include:

Health and Welfare Canada
- involved with nursing stations, health clinics, staff
accomodation and hospitals to First Nations

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC)
- involved with housing and special needs housing

Ministry of Community and Social Services (COMSOC)
- involved with daycares and group homes

Ministry of Citizenship (Native Community Branch)
- involved with community and economic development initiatives

Ministry of Tourism and Recreation
- involved in arenas and recreation centres

Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC)
- involved with schools, administration buildings, teacherages,
community and recreation buildings, housing and fire protection
facilities to First Nations

"Providing analysis, design and field review services for
First Nations projects presents a considerable challenge. In the design phase, some of this challenge
involves searching for appropriate ways to incorporate
cultural expression and traditional values in the face of
economic constraints. In the construction phase, the
Consultant must be prepared to perform in the absence
of much of the regulatory framework that controls off-
reserve construction. In the end, there is no
substitution for direct experience."
